'White Roses'
This is an excerpt from a poem entilted 'White Roses' by contemporary American poet John Ashbery. I find it Zen-like.
"...Nothing can be harmed! Night and day are beginning again! So put away the book, The flowers you were keeping to give someone: Only the white, tremendous foam of the street has any importance, The new white flowers that are beginning to shoot up about now." |

"The process that we call 'thinking' is in fact nothing more than an ongoing review of our personal history. There is only One Mind; only One Thinker. We can consciously be One with It or we can continue to be historians."

“My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God." -Proverbs 2:1-5 KJV
