Can you help?

I am looking for a 21st century synthesised rendition of William Blake's Jerusalem for a new website any ideas where I can find one? Have done a serach on the net and come up with very much.

Many thanks

Re: Can you help?

Would you happen to have a keyboard at all? If so, I should expect some form of MIDI versions may be available on the net to download - then you could chose your instruments as preferred.

I'm afraid mine's currently disconnected - it's a tragedy, but I'll see about buying some software to reconnect. Then maybe I could help out.

Re: Can you help?

Not familiar with the tune myself (nor does my not so extensive collection of fake books have it), but there's one on this page:

My keyboard (unlike Brian's) is hooked up, so if you can point me in the direction of the sheet music, I can probably create a truly horrendous version for you :-)

... Bruce (who knows his musical limitations, but according to my wife, the tunes are starting to be recognizable when I play...usually - 25 years of not playing takes its toll)

Bruce, I believe that if your keyboard spports MIDI, then you should be able to play the MIDI file via a PC sequencer (I'm trying to remember here - did it once years ago).

Alternatively, Sacred Start could download the relevant MIDI file and play it on her soundcard??

Oh, the MIDI on that page plays quite well - hopefully that will be what SS needs for her web page. I was merely offering to create another version if that was not suitable :-)

Well I think it needs a totally new arrangement to make it sound like a beautiful, engaging dramatic and uplifting film score, to energise people to innovate change. I think it needs a John Williams look alike.....with some real science/close encounters type sounds thrown in for good measure.

It is to go with these type of graphics when the site is done.

Anyone fancy a go? Hoping to launch the new website on Global Love Day 1st May 2005.

They never give me the easy jobs! LOL
