Re: Are we all God's children?
Would that be 'WE' defined by Silas, 'WE' defined by God, 'WE' defined by Jesus, 'WE' defined by someone who calls themselves Christian, 'WE' defined by those who agree with each other, 'WE' as in all those who live from East to West, or 'WE' defined by each person individually? Other?

Re: Are we all God's children?
Quote:
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13 According to scripture, only people who are in Christ have right to be called "children of God." Ther rest are called "children of Adam," "children of wrath" and "children of the devil." Notice, also, who makes them children of God. |

Re: Are we all God's children?
Then I'm afraid as I read it per the gospel that the answer is no... not at this time... but I think all people could be and as Jesus had rebuked, "You know not what manner of spirit you are of". (Luke 9:55) Are you going to be challenging Jesus, Silas?

That's what I was saying...I dont understand why you used that scripture against what I said. What does God's wrath, and the scripture you posted have to do with what I said, namely that not everyone is God's children? |
