Amazing Pieces of Information

InshAllah, I was thinking that we can begin a thread in which we will post information regarding Islam that gives you either an eeman (faith) rush, compels one to reflect deeply within their very being and/or is simply off da hook. And if you are a non-muslim mabey we can discuss the wisdom behind these hadiths or what you think about them? Hope this is allowed....

P.S.I should give you an example right?...okay....like this: Imam Bukhari and Muslim reported that the prophet (S.A.W.) said, "If a disbeliever knows of all the mercy which is in the hand of Allah, he would not lose hope of entering Paradise…"

Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?
And at the Sky, how it is raised high?

And at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm?
And at the Earth, how it is spread out?

What is the matter with them then, that they do not believe?

Re: Amazing Pieces of Information

The general misconception of inheritance was that woman have smaller share than man.

We forget was that men have greater responsibility towards his dependence. They are his mother, sister, wife and daughter. Thus, the inheritance than a man receives, usually does not stay with him. Rather it was spent on all his dependence including his male children.

On the contrary, when a woman receives inheritance, all of that is hers alone. She have NO RESPONSIBILITY to share it with anyone else. Even her husband or children.

Also, if a woman decides to work. All her earnings are hers to keep. She don't have the responsbility to spent her money on her family. Clothing, food and other necessity of the family is the sole responsibility of the men in the household.

Thus, woman in Islam is not oppressed, but rather their status is lifted and their rights are much more than perceived.
