Hi Everyone--

Shalom, salaam, peace to all here--

Wasn't quite sure where to post this. If I shouldn't place it here, maybe Belief & Spirituality would be a good place. Anyway, these links reference a program I have mentioned on another thread. It ran on PBS here in the states, and I don't know if it will be shown again in the near future. Maybe it has or will run in Europe sometime. Anyway, the articles here tell a bit about it, and are interesting by themselves. Al-Andalus sounds like a unique time and place in history. Did anyone see this? The poetry was amazing....

The links I posted are all text. I wish I had a video to site, but haven't found one so far. I haven't had a lot of time to look, though, so there may be something available out there.

Well, that might be a slight exaggeration, but fact remains that the loss of Al-Andalus as a highly tolerant society, was not just a loss to the Muslim
