Jews do not adhere to the Qur'an, that is a Muslim Holy text, not a Jewish one.

actually, you'll note that God sent Jesus ON PURPOSE to be sacrificed, from the Christian point of view. to claim that Romans or Jews killed him is to say that humans are able to thwart the will of God which is incorrect.

however, the blaming of Jews for God killing Jesus is nothing new, unfortunately. one really does have to wonder at the political agenda of people that continually maintain that view for that is all that it can be... a political agenda.

Errors aside, he's right. Kinda. There are all sorts of apparent hypocrisy between what's in the bible and how the organized religions behave. Even WITHIN the bible there is conflict without resolution. One minute Abraham is mixing milk with meat, next thing ya know that's no good boss. One minute Jesus is doing away with the food laws, then Paul and Peter apparently forgot what he said and share a big debate over it, relying on old testament scripture to back up their respective opinions. Guess who won. The guy--Paul--who did away with the food laws. Don't pray with uniformity in public, then 'our father who art...'

I gotta add, though. Where does the bible condone the gathering of elders and the finite number of positions in heaven and assorted other doctrines that Jehovah's witnesses embrace?

and you get the united nations from that? never mind that kofi annan has just had to make an announcement to try and convince us that the UN is not an antisemitic organisation! never mind that syria ( syria!!! ) is on the security council and israel is the only nation-state not allowed on any UN bodies???? hmm. i think what we have here is "old line" conspiracy antisemitism.

Bruce, perhaps you're having trouble seeing the forest because there are too many trees in the way. If you're looking for false teachers, you'll find more of them on television and in magazines than you will in congregations of any kind. Sometimes I can't get over how scot-free the secular world seems to come off during discussions concerning wickedness and lies. The bottom line of that passage in Timothy is that you should never ever listen to anyone who has no morals. You'll find more of these people outside of a church, or synagogue, or mosque, or pagoda, or temple (etc) than you will within them.

LOL Its exactly the opposite. Its 'let's curse the Jews and their supporters for lacking moral ambiguity'. Okay, that was my bias showing, but yeah... the UN is hardly a Jewish puppet.
